Our Community Fridge team of volunteers collects and/or buys food from local shops,  much of which would otherwise go to waste, and makes it available to our community. We also rely on several generous donations.

Isolating but not isolated

Perran Community Support group was formed in early 2020 by a group of local residents who came together to volunteer their time to help support people in the community who were isolated due to the Coronavirus situation and needed some help.

While many had a support network of friends and family nearby, we were able to help many with food, prescription collections …

There were many local businesses that helped with home delivery to those in isolation.

You may need help with something else. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. We can step in to help with deliveries, collecting prescriptions or other important local errands.

Help support those in need

In cases where people couldn’t afford necessities, we relied on donations:

• We had a Crowdfunder.co.uk page and a Facebook Fundraiser.
• We still get donations sent to us. If you would like to help, please email donations@perransupport.com and Rory will send you the bank details for a bank transfer (BACS).

Funds raised went, and still go, to those who are identified, by the Perran Community Support group as needing help.
